Elsie Anderson, age 98, passed away on December 15, 2003 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Elsie moved to the Salt Lake City area in the early 1930's. She met and then married George Anderson. They built and settled in their residence in Holladay. The Anderson's owned the property that is now the home to the Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church. On this property Elsie and George Anderson were the proprietors and operators of a country store. Elsie was an accomplished oil painter and water color artist. In 1984, she suffered a serious auto accident, leaving her partially disabled. Her determination helped her recover. Elsie had a real zest for life and loved spending time with family and friends. She will be remembered for her amazing attitude. Our deepest appreciation to all her neighbors and friends; who made it possible for her to live in her home for all these years.

She is survived by nephew, Jack Waldemar and great-nephew, Ray Brown and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband George Anderson, her parents and siblings.

Our special thanks to Diane Hanks and Marge Jensen for all their love and support.
