"Angel on Earth"
Frankie Jo Holbrook Garn, 47, a beautiful, humorous and talented lady of Farmington, Utah, formerly of San Diego, California and Bountiful, Utah died April 22, 2003 at home following a long illness.
Born May 12, 1955, she was the third daughter of Josephine Whitesides Holbrook and the late Frank Jay Holbrook. Frankie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a member of the Oakridge 9th Ward in Farmington, Utah, where she was active in the young women's program. During her career, Frankie worked as a nurse in the field of obstetrics and in medical research. She loved crafting, quilting, painting and sewing.
Frankie is survived by her husband, Ronald Garn; four children: Jamie Garn Farnsworth (Nigel) of Farmington; Zachary Garn (Tiffany) of Bountiful; Eliza Garn of Salt Lake City; and Bridger Garn of Farmington; two grandchildren, Kayleigh and Lucas Farnsworth; mother, Josephine Holbrook of Bountiful; two sisters, Sydna Kay Holbrook Pope (Ronald) of Vienna, Austria and Julie Anne Holbrook Mann (Allan) of Bountiful, Utah. Frankie was preceded in death by her father, Frank Jay
Holbrook.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 26, 2003 at 12:00 noon at the Fairways Chapel, 1533 North 1075 West, Farmington, Utah. Friends may call Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Saturday morning from 10:45 - 11:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 941 East 3300 South, Salt Lake City. The family would like to give a special thank you to our friends and caregivers at Vista Care Hospice, Mindy Green, Bruce Burrows & Coram Health Care, and her friends at Intermountain Clinical Research.
