UNIONDALE, N.Y. — Jaclyn Raveia and Cheryl Salisbury scored three minutes apart to lead the New York Power to a 2-1 victory over the San Jose CyberRays on Saturday.
Raveia finished Justi Baumgardt's corner kick in the 57th minute to give the Power (6-7-2) a 1-0 lead. Cheryl Salisbury scored her first WUSA goal in the 60th minute to make it 2-0.
The CyberRays (5-8-2) rallied with a goal in the 86th minute when substitute Tisha Venturini-Hoch scored.
SPIRIT 1, CHARGE 1: At Villanova, Pa., Stacey Tullock scored her second goal of the season during second-half extra time to rally Philadelphia to a tie with San Diego.
Tullock's goal came moments after Charge leading scorer Marinette was knocked out of the game. She was carried off on a stretcher because of what the team said was a lower back bruise.
Christine Latham gave the Spirit a 1-0 lead in the 80th minute. Melissa Moore made four saves for Philadelphia (3-6-2), which finished 2-0-1 against San Diego (5-3-6) this season.
