1909 ~ 2004

Fred Clyde Wheeler was reunited with his sweetheart, Geraldine Saturday, December 18, 2004.

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend began his earthly journey June 21, 1909. Born to Dr. Milo Andrew Wheeler and Cordelia Etta Bright in Inkom, Idaho.

Fred attended high school at the Onita Academy in Preston, Idaho and later Utah State University. Fred married Geraldine Sutton in 1933 and was later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in 1970. Preceded in death by two brothers, Preston and Jerry; and two sisters, Arta and Elsye.

Fred served as a member of the LDS Church and dedicated much of his time serving as ward clerk, and home teaching in the Hawthorne Ward. Fred started working at a very young age in the grocery business. Many will remember him as "the meat cutter." He was an accomplished violinist and enjoyed playing for others with the "Hawaiian Entertainers!" He loved to fish with his dad and brothers in Red Point Canyon on the Bear River, and bicycling was a big part of his life from his courting days until just a few years ago.
