Erna Sara Sundfar Breen, age 80, passed away on July 13, 2004 in Poulsbo, Washington.
She was born May 31, 1924 in Oslo, Norway to Olga and OD Sundfar. She attended school in Oslo, Norway where she also met and married Bjarne Breen in 1950.
She was a resident of Salt Lake City until 1997. She worked as a furrier and retired from retail sales.
Her hobbies included needlepoint, coin collecting, playing cards and she was a member of Sons of Norway.
She is survived by sister Tuta Norman of Oslo, Norway; six grandchildren: Walter Bettilyon of Villa Rica, Georgia; Therese Kelly of Galt, California; Frances Bahrt of Sitka, Alaska; Felicia Brusatto-Streit of Palmer, Alaska; Clarice Bayne of Sitka, Alaska; and Katrina Brusatto of Silverdale, Washington; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bjarne Breen, and daughter Marit (Lisa) Brusatto.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 23, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary.
