Carlisle Companies Inc., a North Carolina-based manufacturing company, announced Thursday that it plans to build a new commercial roofing manufacturing facility in Tooele.
The facility is part of a strategic growth initiative for the company's construction materials and commercial roofing company, Carlisle SynTec. Carlisle did not disclose when it will build the facility, when manufacturing activity will commence or how many people it will employ.
In addition to its commercial roofing business, Carlisle also manufactures products for the construction materials, specialty tire and wheel, power transmission, heavy-duty brake and friction, food service, data transmission, process systems and automotive industries.
