Lindon-based Altiris announced Wednesday that it has acquired Tonic Software, a privately held company and innovator of Web application management software.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Greg Butterfield, chief executive of Altiris, said Tonic's technology will allow Altiris to prevent software application problems before they affect end users and business operations.
