Maxwell Lynn Richards 10/29/05 ~ 11/2/05 Maxwell Lynn Richards was born on October 29, 2005, he left this life shortly thereafter on the second of November 2005. Joseph Smith Jr. taught, "The Lord takes many away, even in infancy, that they may escape the envy of man, and the sorrows and evils of the present world; they were too pure, too lovely, to live on earth; therefore, if rightly considered, instead of mourning we have reason to rejoice as they are delivered from evil, and we shall soon have them again." Maxwell was one such child. He was pure, innocent and foreordained for a greater calling. Maxwell had proven himself worthy in the pre-existence and was therefore given a special task. It was his charge to come to this life to give life to others. Maxwell became an organ donor, giving life to two children, who will now live long and wonderful lives. He was truly one of the great spirits in heaven and has returned to do our Father's work. Maxwell happily looks down upon us endowed with eternal life. It is now our duty to follow his example so that we can meet him again in heaven to be an eternal family. Maxwell is survived by his mother Rachel Phelps Richards, father Jeremy Lynn Richards, brother Grant Alvin Richards, brother Monte Everett Richards and sister Lillian Mary Richards. There will be a viewing on Saturday Nov. 12th from Noon until 1:30 p.m. Following the viewing the funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Chapel located on 860 East 200 North in Springville, Utah. Jeremy and Rachel wish to express their gratitude to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center and all others who have given their love and support during this difficult time.
