A battalion chief for the Unified Fire Authority was arrested for allegedly arranging over the Internet to have sex with a child, authorities said.
Paul Murphy, spokesman for the Attorney General's Office, said Dennis Steadman was arrested Wednesday night.
Steadman, 54, was charged with enticing a minor over the Internet and remained in Salt Lake County Jail Wednesday night. No bond had been set.
