Guy Joe Brunetti 1929 ~ 2005 Guy Joe Brunetti born Sept. 28, 1929 in Bingham Canyon Utah, to Tony and Mary Brunetti passed away surrounded by his family in Phoenix, Arizona, May 8, 2005. Guy married Lorna Dee Bateman April 10, 1949.They had three children Tony Mark, Mary Frances (deceased) and Deborah Ann. Guy's parents moved to Union Avenue in 1941. He graduated from Jordan High School in 1948 and was active in sports. Achieving all state honors in football, he received a scholarship from the University of Utah playing varsity football. Upon graduation he went into professional wrestling where he and Joe Tangaro were Tag Team Champions of the World. They wrestled as The Brunetti Brothers. He pursued a career in marketing with his son Tony as owner/operator of Swiss Colony, Primo Inc., and later owned the successful restaurant The Kings Inn in Sun City, Arizona. Guy was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Mary Frances. He is survived by his wife, Lorna, of 56 years, son Tony (Kris); daughter Debbie, five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren; brothers and sister John (Pat deceased) Ross (Connie) Carmela (Bert)Laney, Salt Lake and Albert (Maree) Phoenix, Arizona; nephews, nieces and friends. We will miss him dearly. Interment- Phoenix AZ. Donation to Hospice of the Valley of Phoenix is suggested. Condolences at tony@mastrorestaurants.com
