Jacobsen Construction Co., a contractor and construction manager, has acquired most of the operations of Bud Bailey Inc., another Salt Lake construction firm.
Financial terms were not released. Most Bud Bailey employees and current projects have been incorporated into Jacobsen.
Bud Bailey previously had been a subsidiary of San Francisco-based Swinerton Inc.

Lonnie M. Bullard, Jacobsen's chief executive officer, said the acquisition will result in combined revenues of more than $350 million this year, above the more than $300 million that would have been produced strictly by Jacobsen.
