Drew Major and Dr. Homer R. Warner have been selected as inductees to the Utah Information Technology Association's Hall of Fame.
Major was a founder of Novell and the lead architect and developer of its NetWare operating system. Warner was a pioneer in the field of medical informatics.
Their advances to the technology industry will be marked at a Dec. 2 celebration that will feature keynote speaker Mark Hurd, recently appointed president and chief executive officer of HP.
The Hall of Fame honors people with Utah ties who have made a significant contribution to the IT industry through technology, innovation and/or business.
