Obituary: Joyce Brinkley

Joyce Brinkley Grammy 1927 ~ 2006 Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away Nov. 9, 2006, from a stroke which occurred a week earlier. Joyce was born January 19, 1927, in Mamou, Louisiana, to Elson and Agnes Saucier and was one of two children. She graduated from Sulphur High School, Sulphur, LA Married Harry Brinkley, Jr. in 1949. They were later divorced. She is survived by her daughter, Gale (Gary) Hatch; grandchildren, Wendy (Jeff) Smith, Chassie (Collin) Bunker, Jillian, Colby and Michael Hatch. She also has four great grandchildren, Matt, Abbey, Alex and Calvin, AKA Tank. The family would like to extend a very special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Wasatch Valley Rehabilitation for their friendship and support. Also, a thank you goes out to CNS Hospice. There will be a Celebration of Life Thursday, Nov, 16 at the Hatch family residence, 3626 E. McLain Mountain Circle, 8019 South. The Celebration will be from 7:00 -9:00 p.m.
