Obituary: Kris Garrett Knudsen

Kris Garrett Knudsen 1959 ~ 2006 Kris Garrett Knudsen, age 47, passed away December 24, 2006 in Sandy, Utah. He died peacefully in the arms of his sister who loved him. He was born January 7, 1959 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Gordon Atkinson Knudsen and Beth Garrett. He attended Hartvigsen School. Kris was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Kris loved music, singing, Disney and videos. He loved his family and every get-together we had. He loved his cats and all the little children. He loved to travel, hotels and eating out. He loved people. Everyone he met was an instant friend and he knew they loved him too. He enjoyed his special needs mutual and his friends there. Kris is survived by his siblings: Charlene (Doyle) Nelson, Larry (Mary Ellen) Knudsen, Dave (Cindy) Knudsen and Elizabeth (Galen) Merrell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon A. and Beth Knudsen. Services will be held on Friday, December 29th at 12 noon at the Sandy Hills Ward at 8600 S. 1500 East, Sandy, with a visitation one hour prior to service. Friends may also visit on Thursday, December 28th at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary 3401 South Highland Drive Salt Lake City between 6 and 8 p.m. The family would like to express our thanks and gratitude to Dr. David Breding for his loving care of our precious brother Kris.
