DOWN TO THE WIRE: BYU is a long shot to sign defensive lineman Sione Fua from Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino, Calif. Fua will announce today between Stanford, Oregon and BYU.
TODAY'S EVENTS: Cougar Club members are invited to a 1 p.m. luncheon and presentation in LaVell Edwards Stadium (Cougar Room). A press conference will follow the luncheon at 2 p.m. and will include a video presentation, Q&A with Mendenhall and interviews with assistant coaches.
