New York-based Balchem Corp. announced Thursday that its wholly owned subsidiary, Balchem Minerals Corp., has acquired Chelated Minerals Corp., a mineral nutrition supplements company with operations in Utah.
BMC acquired all of the outstanding capital stock of Chelated Minerals for $17.35 million, before working capital and other adjustments, according to a press release.
CMC will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of BMC and will continue manufacturing nutritional supplements for animal diets at its operations facility in Salt Lake City.
