Clyde Lynn Jacobson 1943 ~ 2006 Our beloved brother, father, uncle and friend, Clyde Lynn Jacobson, died April 2, 2006, at the CareSource Residence Hospice in Salt Lake City, Utah after a valiant struggle with cancer. Lynn was born June 1, 1943, in Salt Lake City to Clyde Alvin Jacobson and Julia Warren Jacobson. He married Patricia Phillips in 1963. They had one son, Brian Lynn. They were later divorced. He married Pamela McGuiness in 1977 and gained two children, Tommy and Michelle. They were later divorced. Lynn was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. All of us, especially his nieces and nephews, will miss the fun camping and fishing trips. He was always the life of the party wherever he went, and we will miss his deep, infectious laugh. He was a wonderful friend with a generous heart and would give you his last dollar. He was adored by all who knew him well. Lynn is survived by his brother and best friend, Allen J Jacobson of Salt Lake City who took such good care of him and gave countless hours of service and devotion; sisters, Joan (Walt) Van Moorlehem of Brigham City; and Susan (Frank) Whitney of Orem; son Brian (Amy) Jacobson and daughter, Michelle (Ron) Garner; seven grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Tommy. The family would like to thank all those who so kindly cared for Lynn during his illnesses. We express a very heartfelt thank-you for his special friend, Cindy Klein, who could always make him laugh even on his worst days, and who so tenderly cared for him until his last hour. Graveside services will be Saturday, April 8, 2006, at 12:00 noon at the Centerville City Cemetery, 650 E. 400 S. in Centerville, Utah. SereniCare, funeral directors.
