Salt Lake-based Evans & Sutherland Computer Corp. said Tuesday it has completed its acquisition of Spitz Inc.
E&S acquired Spitz stock from parent company Transnational Industries Inc. for about $3.4 million. E&S previously had said it would acquire Spitz while also divesting its simulation business to Rockwell Collins Inc. The Rockwell Collins transaction has not yet closed.
E&S produces hardware and software to create realistic visual images for digital theater and other applications. It employs approximately 275 people worldwide.
