Obituary: Melinda (Mindy) Kaye McKean

Melinda (Mindy) Kaye McKean 1/2/1972 ~ 8/30/2006 Our beloved daughter, sister, mother, fianc?, niece, aunt and a wonderful friend returned to God peacefully August 30, 2006. Mindy was born Jan. 02, 1972 in Salt Lake City to Bob and Sandy McKean. She was a wonderful person that we shared so much with and we will all miss her dearly. She graduated from Cottonwood High School in 1990 and was certified in cosmetology. She was a devoted mother to her two children David and Bobbi. She loved drawing and writing and was very talented in cosmetology. Her hidden talent was poetry. Mindy endured many years of struggle in this life and now she has returned home and found her peace. Mindy married David Shawn Gilley August 17, 1991, later divorced. She was engaged to her love of five years, Jerry Jaramillo. She is survived by her parents Bob and Sandy McKean, brothers Chris (Marci) McKean, Robert (Colleen) McKean, David (Angie) McKean. Her children David and Bobbi Gilley, fianc? Jerry Jaramillo and son Robby. Grandmother Anna McKean and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Wednesday September 6, 2006 at Salt Lake Christian Center (4300 So. 700 E.) Friends and family may call and visit Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary (4760 So. State St.) and one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church.
