Married Janeen Jacobs, 1955, in the Salt Lake Temple. Ted was a gentle, soft-spoken man with an artistic nature. In his youth he developed a strong work ethic and a love for goodness and beauty which served him well all his life. He received his Master's degree in music composition at the U of U. Ted was an accomplished pianist and organist and taught piano for many years. He and his wife, Janeen, founded Brite Music in 1976 and through his tireless efforts millions of children were influenced for good. A devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he filled a mission to Germany where he wrote several hymns which were published in the German Hymnal for the church. Ted served in many callings including bishop of the Rosecrest 1st Ward, high councilor, and on the General Church Music Committee. Ted loved machinery, roasted nuts, hiking in the mountains, and his thesaurus. He adored and was proud of his wife, and was a patient and kind father who set a constant example of integrity and strength. We will miss him.
