Passengers file out of a Northwest Airlines plane sitting about 400 feet off an eastbound runway on Sunday at Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee, Wis. The jet, which had been carrying 104 people on board, skidded off the airport's runway in snowy weather after the crew aborted the flight as it began accelerating for takeoff, officials from Northwest Airlines said.
