Richfield, Utah - William "Bill" McKinlay, 86, died October 15, 2007 in Richfield, Utah.

Born, September 10, 1921 in Newdale, Idaho to Archibald and Louiette Stevens McKinlay. Married Lois Montgomery, February 14, 1942 in the Manti LDS Temple.

Bill served in the Army during World War II. He got his pilot's license following the war, owned and operated McKinlay Chevrolet in Richfield with his father and brother. After he sold the dealership in 1988, he continued to work until his retirement in 2001. He was an avid "techie" fisherman, golfer and loved his flower gardens.

Survived by his wife, Lois; sons, Brent (Alicia) McKinlay, William Allen McKinlay, Scott (Cecelia) McKinlay; grandchildren, Hollie (Nate) Curtis, Kamie (Kirk) Kelsey, Patricia, Annalicia, Rachel, Mary and Jesse McKinlay; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Bunnie (Afton) Vanderlinden and Marjean Holm; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Hansen, LaVee McKinlay.

Funeral services, Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West, Richfield. Viewing at the mortuary Wednesday evening 6 to 8. and again Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30. Burial, Richfield City Cemetery, with Military Rites by the V.F.W.
