Victor Eugene Gillette
1955 ~ 2007
Victor Eugene (Vic) Gillette returned to his Heavenly Father on Nov. 23, 2007, after a difficult struggle with health and depression problems most of his life.
Vic is survived, and will be sorely missed, by his Grandmother
Jeannette Gillette of Jackson, Wyoming; his mother Marilynn
Gillette and one sister Valerie, of Magna, Utah; four of his five children, David of West Valley City; Rachael (Rae), Ian, and Megan, and their mother ex-wife DeAnne Gillette of Clearfield; ex-wife Teresa Frank of West Valley City; step-mother Gerri, and father Eugene of Holladay; and one Uncle Francis and wife Paula, of Polson, Montana; and two aunts Claudia Gillette and Kathleen Homar of Jackson,
Wyoming.
Vic was preceded in death by his daughter Angela, of Nephi; and by his younger brother, Vaughn, of Salt Lake City. Vic wanted to be a truck driver all of his life, which he was, until forced to retire due to failing health.
Following his earlier life with his family in Wyoming and Idaho, Vic was graduated from Cottonwood High School in 1974, and served in the United States Coast Guard until receiving a medical discharge in 1975.
Vic was born on April 20, 1955 in Laramie, WY, and loved Tennessee Ernie Ford's songs and singing.
Vic's earthly body was cremated and his ashes now reside with his children.
