Michael John Bailey, 69, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away November 26, 2007. He was born April 6, 1938 in Boise, Idaho. Michael married Doreene Dorman and they enjoyed many years together. Michael loved the University of Utah and the
"Utes". He was a member of the Crimson Club and happily served as a team leader for fund raising. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. Michael graduated from Jordan High School and was a member of the Utah National Guard, also serving active duty with the U. S. Army. He retired in 2000 from J.L. Hardy Construction Company.
Survivors: wife, Doreene, Taylorsville; children, Tom (Ann), Cary, North Carolina; Crystal Maddox, Laguna Niguel, California; Garrett (Jennifer), Murray; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn K. Bailey; and brother, Albert.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 3, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State where friends may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. or Monday one hour prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Huntsman Cancer Institute
