Obituary: Hydee Martha VanRoosendaal Smith

Hydee Martha VanRoosendaal Smith Super Mom Our most precious wife, mother, daughter, aunt and sister passed away suddenly February 20, 2007. Born to Ronald C. and Carol Vieweg VanRoosendaal on March 21, 1966. Hydee graduated from Cottonwood High School and attended the University of Utah. She will be missed beyond words by her husband of 18 1/2 years, Todd, and her three beautiful daughters, Sharidan 16, Sheylbe 14, Sheyanne 10, whom she devoted her life into making them the young women they are today. Hydee recently gave birth to a son, Shayde. While Shayde only got to spend a short time with his mom, he will always know what a beautiful person she was and how much she loves him. She was always at the front of the line if a volunteer, a big smile or a shoulder to lean on was needed. She dearly loved her co-workers at Jordan Hills Elementary School, her Bonko friends and her brothers and sisters. Hydee had more friends than you could count and her friendship was cherished by all. WE LOVE YOU HYDEE! Survived by mother, Carol, brothers, Derrick and Shayne (Lisa), sisters, Tawnia (Chip) Andrews, Lori (Wayne) Thompson, Cindy and Kim, in-laws, Barbara and Denny Steele, Kathy and Jerry Smith, 10 nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007, 12:30 p.m. at the Welby Stake Center, 8841 S. 4800 W. A viewing will be held Friday evening at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S., Sandy, from 6-8 p.m. and at 11:00 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Hydee my precious, I will always love you and cherish the times we spent together shopping, lunch, etc., especially our trips to Disneyland. Till I see you again, I love you. Watch over your children and guide them. Mom One of a kind, irreplaceable sister till we meet again, Love ya! A memorial fund has been set up in her honor under the name of Hydee M. Smith.
