Prior to joining Love, Kimball worked for an accounting and financial services consulting organization. He also has worked as business manager/controller for a number of Salt Lake-area broadcast media outlets. Nicole Fisher was hired as account executive. Fisher previously worked as an account executive for a San Francisco firm. She is a graduate of Santa Clara University. Laura Barnes has joined the firm as account coordinator. She previously served as marketing coordinator at a Utah company and is a graduate of the University of Utah.

The law firm of Strong & Hanni announced that shareholder Bradley Wm. Bowen was elected chairman of the Utah CPA Political Action Committee for the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants. The committee represents the interests of its members on various political issues. Bowen earned his law degree at the U. He joined Strong & Hanni in 1985.

David V. Beckett was named business lending manager for Goldenwest Credit Union. Beckett has 21 years of financial services experience, including 15 years' experience in commercial lending. He is a graduate of Utah State University.

Marc H. Bennett, president and chief executive officer of HealthInsight, a non-profit quality improvement organization for Utah and Nevada, was named president of the American Health Quality Association. AHQA represents the national network of quality improvement organizations, which work with providers, consumers and other stakeholders in every state to help them ensure patient safety, adopt best clinical practices and improve health care delivery.

John Murcko was named vice president of culinary services at Talisker Mountain Inc., a private real estate development firm based in Park City. Murcko has 16 years of professional culinary experience and is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. At Talisker, he will oversee the seven dining experiences for the Talisker Club membership.

Crowell Advertising announced four new hires. Brooke Bireley joined the firm as office service specialist. Callaway has more than 10 years of experience in agency operations. Prior to joining Crowell, she worked at a San Francisco advertising firm. Brady Crowell joined the agency as business development specialist. Crowell spent 10 years working with securities for a number of firms in Boston and Salt Lake City. Darin Gibson was named Crowell's interactive media planner. He handles media planning, from research to evaluation, and is a U. graduate.

Big-D Construction announced that Brandon Briggs was promoted to vice president. Briggs has been with Big-D since 2002. He will be responsible primarily for the direction of estimating activities, quality control of estimates and the overall development of the estimating group. Briggs is a graduate of Brigham Young University and has 10 years of construction-related experience.

Wells Fargo Insurance Services, formerly Acordia, announced that Robert Reidhead has joined its commercial production staff. Reidhead comes to Wells Fargo Insurance Services from Wells Fargo Bank, where he served for the past five years as a branch manager.

Westminster College has hired Marvin Seale as director of fitness, wellness and recreation at the college. Seale is a graduate of Sam Houston State University and has an extensive background in health and wellness. Most recently, he served as director of wellness and recreation at Red Mountain Spa in Southern Utah.

Center 7, a Lindon-based provider of managed hosting and application services, announced the appointment of Nathan Hatch as president and chief executive officer. Center 7 is a portfolio company of Canopy Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm. Hatch previously served as senior vice president of marketing and corporate development at another firm.

He also has extensive experience in television production.

U.S. Bank has promoted Clary Cook to regional sales manager for the bank's merchant services group in Utah. Cook previously served as a regional account executive for the bank. He also has experience as a branch manager and personal banker for U.S. Bank in the Salt Lake area.
