Frame, age 69, returned home peacefully on Thursday, June 7, 2007 to our Father in Heaven, with loving family members by his side. Jerry was born August 13, 1937 in Park City, Utah to Vernee C. He received degrees from CSU, BYU, and UCLA's School of Physical Therapy. He was the physical therapist at BYU for 38 years, serving the students and staff of BYU and the MTC missionaries. On May 29, 1967, dad married the love of his life, Susan Bird, in the St. George LDS temple. He coached or attended thousands of his kid's games and practices, even coaching his daughters' softball game two days before he passed. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Jerry served as a missionary in England and Scotland from 1958 to 1960. He also served as Bishop, High Councilor, Elders' Quorum President, and his favorite calling as Priest Quorum advisor and coach for 17 years. Dad was a pioneer in the field of assisted heart devices (LVADs), surviving three heart surgeries and more than 34 months with the LVAD. Through it all, Sue was his "angel of mercy" and true lifeline. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Hugh V. Bird. He is survived by his wife Susan; his siblings Robert (Joy), Michael (Donna), Pat (Widge) Quarnberg; his children Steve (Jenny), Wendy (Jeff) Call, Barbara (Gunnar) Gunnarson, Tami (Steevun) Lemon, Kate (Giegh) Rogerson, Craig (Sue); seven and one-half granddaughters and 11 grandsons; his mother-in-law Margie Bird; his brother-in-law Dennis (Merrily) Bird, and his sister-in-law Sherrie (Larry) Silcox.
