Michael D. Kendall has joined the Salt Lake law firm of Parsons Kinghorn Harris. A graduate of the Gonzaga University School of Law, Kendall practices principally in the areas of business organizations and transactions, bankruptcy, commercial litigation, real property law and trusts and estates.

IBAHN, a provider of secured broadband services for hoteliers and meeting organizers, announced two senior executive promotions. Lawrence A. Dustin has been promoted to the position of vice chairman, and Gregory G. Hodges has been promoted to president. Dustin has served as president of the North American Hotels Group at iBAHN since November 2005. Hodges has served as chief operating officer since joining iBAHN in October 2003.

Salt Lake-based marketing agency Richter7 announced several staff changes. Tony Robinson was promoted to the position of chief financial officer, replacing Tony Thompson, who retired after 18 years as Richter's CFO. Robinson, a University of Utah graduate, was hired in 1993 as a courier at Richter7. He moved into the accounting department in 1996. Melinda Spratley was hired as an account manager. Prior to joining Richter7, Spratley spent the last four years as account manager at other advertising agencies. Lauren Yant, who has worked as marketing director for Sunlight Mountain Resort in Colorado, was hired by Richter7 as medical marketing account manager. And Katie Cavicchio, who had worked for Colorado-based Backbone Media, was hired by Richter7 as a copywriter.

Darin Richardson of Lehi has been promoted to managing partner of ABC Supply Co. Inc. Richardson joined ABC Supply, a wholesale distributor of roofing, in 2002 as manager of its Murray branch.

Salt Lake-based advertising, public relations and interactive agency Penna Powers Brian Haynes has promoted Stephanie Miller- Barnhart to director of public relations and Jon Manning to interactive supervisor. Miller-Barnhart has been employed at PPBH in the public relations department for 13 years. Manning joined PPBH in 2005 and has nearly 10 years of experience developing electronic media and designing for digital media.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage announced three management appointments. Bill Lundskog has been named managing broker for the Jordan Commons office. He has been with the company for six years, most recently as managing broker of the Sandy/Draper office. Replacing Lundskog as Sandy/Draper branch broker is Jeff Thayne, who has been a sales agent/associate broker with Coldwell for nine years. Rick Bentley is the new Jordan Commons sales manager. He has been a sales agent/associate broker with the company for 12 years.

Lynn Rowe, a 20-year public relations veteran, has formed Writing Solutions, a writing service for small businesses that don't have PR people on staff.

U.S. Bank announced three staff changes. Michele L. Sauk has joined the bank's SBA Division as a business development officer and lender. A Utah State University graduate, Sauk is based at the U.S. Bank SBA Business Center at 448 E. 6400 South. Nick Storey was hired as manager for the bank branch located at 4135 S. Redwood Road in Taylorsville. The Salt Lake Community College graduate previously worked as assistant branch manager at another financial institution. Barbara McMullin has been named branch manager of the U.S. Bank office at 3580 S. 2700 West in West Valley City. McMullin has been a member of the U.S. Bank team for more than 12 years.

Images Hair Studio & Day Spa, 2627 E. Parleys Way, announced five new hires: stylist Shawna Newcomb, hair stylist Amber Osmond, hair stylist Erika Negley, nails specialist Kyrie Ogden and esthetician Elise Pack.

Flexpoint Sensor Systems Inc. has hired Byron Allen as vice president of sales and marketing. He will lead the company's sales and marketing efforts as Flexpoint expands its focus from research and development into a sales corporation. Allen previously served as vice president of international sales for ICON Health & Fitness.

Rick Smith has been appointed as the new director of the Office of the Guardian ad Litem in Utah, replacing Kristen Brewer, who accepted a position with the Washington State Office of the Attorney General. Smith, who has degrees from Brigham Young University and the U., will oversee 39 attorneys working as guardians ad litem throughout the state.

Salt Lake-based online retailer Overstock.com Inc. announced that its board of directors has appointed Joseph J. Tabacco Jr. to serve as an independent director for a term that began June 6 and ends in 2008. The board also appointed Tabacco, the managing partner of the San Francisco office of the law firm of Berman DeValerio Pease Tabacco Burt & Pucillo, to serve on the audit and compensation committees.

ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a national damaged vehicle repair company, announced the appointment of Doug Voss as district manager for its Utah market. Before joining ABRA, Voss was regional director for the southwest territory of Sterling Autobody Centers from 2002 to 2007.
