In her most desperate moments, Anna Nicole Smith feared that her lawyer boyfriend Howard K. Stern played a role in her only son's death, a new book about the former Playboy Playmate's demise alleges.
Former employees of the ex-stripper claim they heard her screaming at Stern, "You did this! You killed him! You caused this!" as the couple waited for the coroner to determine how Daniel Smith died in 2006, the book says.
"Someone poisoned him or gave him drugs or something," Anna Nicole allegedly told an employee. "He didn't do drugs."
The allegations are detailed in the tell-all "Blonde Ambition: The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith's Death" by former NBC journalist Rita Cosby.
The New York Daily News reported that the book alleges Stern and Larry Birkhead, the biological father of Anna Nicole's baby daughter, were gay lovers.
