Francisco Partners, a technology-focused private equity firm, has acquired Salt Lake-based AdvancedMD Software Inc., a provider of Web-based medical-practice management and billing software.
John Trzeciak, a health-care adviser to San Francisco-based Francisco Partners, will become chief executive officer of AdvancedMD, according to a news release Thursday from AdvancedMD. Jim Pack, AdvanceMD's current CEO, will remain as a member of the company's board of directors.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
