The Indianapolis Colts signed fourth-round pick Austin Collie, the former BYU star.

Indy also announced Saturday that it signed defensive tackle Fili Moala, a second-round pick, leaving only top pick Donald Brown still unsigned heading into training camp.

The team did not disclose details of the contracts, though it has been signing players selected after the first round to four-year deals for the past several years.

JACKSON HURTS LEG: MinnesotaVikings quarterback TarvarisJackson left the practice field on Saturday morning with an apparent leg injury after getting tangled with a defensive lineman during an 11-on-11 drill.

Jackson was injured when defensive lineman LeTroyGuion fell at his feet and rolled over his leg. Jackson folded to the field in pain as trainers rushed to check on him. After a few minutes, he was able to get up and walk off under his own power.

MASON UN-RETIRES: Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Derrick Mason emerged from retirement Saturday, less than three weeks after abruptly announcing the end to his 12-year career.

Mason called team owner Steve Bisciotti on Saturday morning, expressing his desire to return. The 35-year-old Mason showed up at training camp after the morning practice session and met with general manager Ozzie Newsome.

The Ravens then announced that Mason would be in uniform for Sunday's practice.

"It was a tough decision, but I think it was a good decision for me to come back," Mason said in a statement. "I needed to evaluate my life, football and my career.

BIG BEN MOVES ON: BenRoethlisberger quickly moved to make sure his problems don't become those of the SuperBowl champion PittsburghSteelers.

Roethlisberger apologized to his teammates for causing a possible distraction, then answered questions Saturday for the first time since being named as the defendant in a Nevada civil lawsuit that accuses him of sexual assault.

He declined to discuss his legal problems, or even acknowledge them, saying, "I'm playing football."

CARDINALS' WELLS HURT: Running back BeanieWells didn't quite make it through his first practice with the ArizonaCardinals on Saturday.

He rolled his left leg in a collision with JasonBanks late in the workout and was taken off on a cart. It wasn't known how serious the injury was.

A slimmed-down Wells arrived at the Cardinals' training camp in the wee hours and set his sights on winning the starting running back job by the time the season begins.

TEXANS INK CUSHING: The HoustonTexans agreed to a deal with first-round pick linebacker BrianCushing on Saturday, but he arrived in town too late to make the team's afternoon practice.

Cushing flew to Houston on Saturday after agreeing to the deal and coach GaryKubiak had expected him to make it to the practice. But the 15th overall draft pick wasn't finished taking his physical and signing his contract in time to make it.

TITANS SIGN BRITT:ReceiverKennyBritt agreed to terms Saturday night on a contract with the TennesseeTitans, getting him into training camp a week before the team's first preseason game.

The Titans open the NFL's preseason Aug. 9 in the Hall of Fame game against Buffalo.

AgentToddFrance confirmed by e-mail to The Associated Press that Britt agreed to terms with the Titans.

GIANTS INK FINAL PICK: The New York Giants signed first-round pick Hakeem Nicks, who they hope will replace Plaxico Burress. He became the last of the Giants' nine picks to reach a deal when the North Carolina receiver signed a five-year contract on Saturday that will pay him a little less than $12.5 million.
