SALTNEY, North Wales — Volunteers have been working over a number of days to give Saltney Community Centre a much-needed makeover.

More than 100 volunteers of the Chester Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have cleared away old clutter and given the centre a new look.

Volunteers involved ranged in age from 8 to 80, including a heavily pregnant mother who was still keen to be part of the Helping Hands project.
