Arnold passed peacefully, Saturday, May, 29, 2010 with his beloved wife by his side.
Born to Lenard Allen Grundvig and Geneva Arnold in Price, Utah. He was a practical genius, a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa, (papa), great grandpa and "unc".
He joined the navy at age 17,
returning home to marry his sweetheart, Lorraine Dowd.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, son, Arnold, Jr. (Barbara); daughter, Paula Merz (Errol Pulsipher), his grandchildren, Lorrie Pappas, Brigitte Hatt (Richard), Jeremy Grundvig (Bridgette), Nicholas Grundvig (Juelee), great grandchildren, Kellen, Chandler and Athena Pappas, Sabrina Hatt, Mikayla Grundvig, Abigail Grundvig and a great grandson on the way. Preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, his first born son, Gary Butch, his stillborn daughter, Carla Lorraine and his grandson Lyle Zeke Francis.
Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, June 1, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at the Kimball Ward, 2280 South 300 East with a visitation the day of the service from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at the Kimmerle Funeral Home, 36 South 100 West, Moab, Utah from 10:00 to 11:00 with a graveside service following at the Sunset Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Spanish Valley Drive, Moab, Utah.
