William LaMonte Robison1920 ~ 2011William LaMonte Robison, age 91, passed away October 15, 2011 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born May 31, 1920, in Salt Lake City to George Franklin and Flora Mary Robison. He attended West High School and LDS Business College. He married Rhea Booth in March of 1939 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and stayed married for 54 years until her passing in 1993. He then married Rhea Diamond but later divorced.A very successful man in many ways, he served as a corpsman in the United States Air Corp during World War II and was instrumental in numerous air/sea rescue missions in the Pacific. Founder of Robison Hill & Company, a CPA who practiced over 50 years and for 33 of those years had the opportunity of serving as a Trustee in the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts in Utah, Colorado, and Nevada, resulting in many successful, re-organizations of companies that had been insolvent.He is survived by his five children, Judy (Jim) Alvey, David Robison, Janet Hilliard, Susan Buecher, Debbie (Dave) Buckhouse; 17 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife Rhea, parents, four brothers and one sister.Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 12:00 noon at Little Cottonwood 20th LDS Ward Chapel, 6350 South Rodeo Lane (1605 East), the family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive and Thursday at 10:00 to 11:45 at the church.
