Bette Sue (McAlister) Feulner1927 ~ 2012Bette Sue (McAlister) Feulner, 84 passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah March 28, 2012. Bette was born October 8, 1927 in Humboldt, Tennessee to James A. and Alice White McAlister. She met the love of her life, Norman Glen Feulner, while she was attending Business College in Memphis Tennessee. Norman was in the Navy. They were married on December 16, 1949 in Memphis. Tennessee.Bette worked in her father's electrical business, McAlister Brothers, McKesson & Robbins, GMAC, and at Bush Sales & Mfg. with her husband and family. Bette loved to read, to travel, particularly to the ocean. She loved all things ocean, walking on the beach, gathering seashells, and visiting lighthouses. She loved to sew, cook and watch the quail in the back yard. She was a Primary Teacher, a Den Mother and Girl Scout leader. Bette is survived by her husband, children: Norman Glen Feulner, Jr. Susan (Keven) Crowther, Kathy Ann Feulner. Grandchildren: Jessica (Eric) Nez, Miles Feulner, Curt (Julie) Heiner, Jason (Jessica) Heiner, Heather (Kameron) Lyman, Justin (Jamie) Crowther. She has 7 Great-Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, and youngest daughter Vikki Lynn Feulner (1973).A viewing will be held on Monday, April 2, 2012 at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive in Salt Lake City, Utah, from 6 to 8 p.m., and one hour prior to Funeral Services on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, 11:00 a.m., Holladay 2nd Ward, 4568 S. Holladay Blvd. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. We would like to thank the nurses and doctors at St. Mark's Hospital for their devotion and loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Guide Dogs for the Blind in the name of Bette Sue and Vikki Lynn Feulner.
