Mabel MoffettOct. 24, 1926 ~ Feb. 2, 2014Mabel Elane Landon Moffett passed away at her home in Murray, Utah on Sunday, February 02, 2014. She was 87.She was born October 24, 1926 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Joseph Sedoris Landon and Polly Annie Hanny Landon. Mabel married Rex Charles Moffett on November 30, 1942. He passed away in 1980 and she married her second husband, Kenneth Earl Kettery on October 15, 1983. He passed away in 1985.Mabel was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Alice Jacobs, Albert Landon, Vera Clements Porter, Charles Landon, Glen Landon, Melvin Landon, Kenneth Landon, and Theo Weller; her husbands; and special friend Jack Schild.She is survived by daughters; Rexa Marie Moffett, Rita Suzanne (Doug) Holmgren, Robin Jan (Don) David; grandson, Jeremy Chad (Natalie) Horton; and two great-grandsons, Benjamin McKay Horton and Alexander Joseph Horton; Step-daughters Lynn (Mick) Narey, LuAnn (Jaime) Rodriguez, Caryl (Matt) Brown; Step-grandchildren, Luke Narey, Alex Narey, Natalie (Jeremy) McKenzie, Adam Sowder, Ryan Baugh, and Shelby Baugh; and Step-great-grandchildren Kyia Crammer, Eli McKenzie, Declan McKenzie, and Emily Young. She also leaves behind her sister Francis Marie Seybold Swickard; four sisters-in-law Nellie Landon, Jeanne Landon, Ruth Landon, and L'Marie (Dan) McLaren, and numerous nieces and nephews who were all special to her.Mabel enjoyed a long and productive life and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.Per her wishes she was cremated and will have no funeral. Her ashes will be buried next to her husband, Rex, in the spring.
