Cedar Fort Media and Publishing is on Publisher Weekly’s list of the fastest-growing independent publishing companies in the country that was published earlier this month.

Each publisher was evaluated based on sales growth, number of employees and number of titles during the past three years, according to a news release from Cedar Fort.

The Springville-based publisher attributes a 41 percent growth to a restructuring of its production teams into genre teams that work on their own titles rather than having traditional teams, according to Publisher Weekly’s list.

Cedar Fort also attributes growth into film distribution, e-books and audiobooks, according to Publisher Weekly.

The publishing company was founded in 1986 and titles include fiction and nonfiction for and about members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and general-interest titles like cookbooks, clean romances and young adult books.
