HEBER CITY — The Wasatch County Nominating Commission has announced the appointment of Brook Jason Sessions to the Wasatch County Justice Court.

Sessions will replace Judge Orson Lane McCotter, who will retire on July 29.

Sessions has worked as an attorney in private practice in Utah since 1992. He has a bachelor’s degree in business from Utah State University and a law degree from the University of Oregon.

His appointment to the bench is subject to completion of the court’s new judge orientation and certification by the Utah Judicial Council.
