Gentri didn't wait for turkey day to be over to get in the Christmas spirit. The group posted one of the first Christmas cover videos of the year Thanksgiving Day.

In the video, the trio of tenors sing the well-known Christmas hymn "O Holy Night."

Mixed with video of the three men singing are scenes of a young family participating in Christmas activities, including picking out their Christmas tree.

As the father begins to put the Christmas tree on his SUV, a kind-looking bearded man reaches out to help him. At the end of the video the father searches for the man but says no words when he meets him.

"O Holy Night" is one of 12 songs on Gentri's newest album, "Finding Christmas," released Oct. 14.

"We live in a world where we are sometimes prone to judgment," says the video's description. "Perception becomes our reality. In our haste, we can jump to false conclusions and opportunities to lift and lighten the loads of others are lost. As we allow the light of Christ to work miracles within our own heart, we then are empowered to work wonders in the lives of others. May His perfect example of love and compassion for all guide us in our own charity towards those around us this Christmas season and always."
