Sharp-shooting guard Jake Toolson will transfer from BYU, ESPN reported Wednesday.

The nephew of Danny Ainge, Toolson played nearly a year and a half for the Cougars. After playing in 26 games as a freshman, the Gilbert, Arizona, native played in 10 games in 2015-16, before taking a leave of absence due to an unspecified medical issue.

Toolson averaged 2.3 points per game as a freshman and 3.9 points per game as a sophomore. In the two years combined, he knocked down 23-of-59 from beyond the arc, a 39 percent rate.

His career-high 15 points came as a freshman against Southern Virginia.
