LeShaun Sims' pro career took another step on Monday, as the former Southern Utah cornerback signed with the Tennessee Titans.

Sims was one of six draft picks the Titans agreed to terms with on their rookie contracts on Monday, the team announced. The 6-foot, 200-pound Sims was a fifth-round pick by Tennessee in last month's NFL draft.

This comes three days after former teammate Miles Killebrew signed his rookie contract with the Detroit Lions, who took the safety in the fourth round.

Sims was a shutdown corner for the T-Birds and had 220 tackles and eight interceptions as a four-year starer for SUU. During his final season in Cedar City, Sims had two interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown, and 10 pass breakups.

He will participate in rookie mini-camp with the Titans from Friday through Sunday this weekend.
