A new selection of items with a back-to-school theme is available at Kohl’s stores through September as part of the Kohl’s Cares program, according to a news release.
Hardcover books and plush toys from author Norman Bridwell’s Clifford the Big Red Dog series make up most of the collection along with a Clifford backpack, a Crayola art kit and Laurie Keller’s picture book “The Scrambled States of America.”
The picture books and coordinating toys include the books “Clifford’s ABC” and “Clifford Takes a Trip” with a Clifford plush toy, “Clifford Goes to Kindergarten” with an Emily Elizabeth plush toy, and “Clifford and the Missing Beach Ball” with a T-Bone plush toy and Cleo plush toy.
Each book or toy costs $5, and the net profits go toward children's health initiatives nationwide, according to the news release.
