Disney Channel Original Movies are a timepiece of nostalgia, especially for millennials. It's hard to forget such cartoonish Disney cult classics like “The Luck of the Irish,” “Cadet Kelly” and “Halloweentown High," among many others.
And it appears states have specific favorites. CableTV.com, an entertainment blog about television and movie culture, recently put together a map that looks at each state's favorite Disney Channel Original Movie.
In general, most states favored movies filmed in their home states. For example, Hawaii loved “Johnny Tsunami” — a movie about a Hawaiian surfer — and Nebraska loved “Cow Belles” — which is about a pair of young Nebraskan sisters and their romantic trials.
And, according to the map, Utah’s favorite Disney Channel film is “High School Musical,” the classic movie about a pair of teens who discover their love of music while falling in love.
Idaho favored “Halloweentown,” while Colorado’s favorite film proved to be “You Wish!”, which is a film about a boy who gets everything he wishes for, according to CableTV.com.
You can see which film your state likes in the map below.

Utah’s played host to a few Disney channel productions over the years. “High School Music” was filmed at East High School and Murray High School, among other spots.
More recently, the Disney Channel show “Andi Mack” was filmed in Salt Lake City. The comedy show about 13-year-old Ani Mack, who just wants to be a normal teen in a crazy world, debuts later this year.
Other Disney major motion pictures were filmed in Utah, too, including "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" (crews filmed at the Bonneville Salt Flats and Wendover) and “The Lone Ranger” (filmed in Moab, Monument Valley and Dead Horse Point State Park).
