OREM — One man was killed in a single-vehicle accident early Saturday in Utah County.
Orem police Sgt. Brian Luangsawasdi said the incident near 400 N. Geneva was reported at 2 a.m. by Utah County sheriff’s deputies. Emergency personnel had to extract 35-year-old James Royal Griffin from the vehicle, but attempts by a medical team to revive him were unsuccessful.
Luangsawasdi said speed may have been a factor in the crash and an investigation into a cause was ongoing.
