BYUtv’s sketch comedy show, "Studio C," celebrated the success of its recent viral video, “Top Soccer Shootout Ever with Scott Sterling,” and wished its viewers a “Merry Christmas” by hitting Sterling one more time.
The original soccer shootout video has been viewed more than 15.5 million times in the last month. In the viral video, Matt Meese plays Scott Sterling, a soccer goalie who is repeatedly hit in the head during a soccer shootout. In one of the most quoted parts of the video, the commentators call Sterling “The man. The myth. The legend.” The phrase has now been printed on Scott Sterling T-shirts that are available for purchase through BYUtv.
The new short video shows the commentators from the original video giving Sterling a Christmas "gift."
