President Donald Trump shared a tweet Thursday morning that inspired a meme across social media.

What happened: Trump’s tweet highlighted the improved stock market and potential growth for Americans’ 401Ks. Only it had a typo in it.

  • Trump: “STOCK MARKET AT ALL-TIME HIGH! HOW ARE YOUR 409K’S DOING? 70%, 80%, 90% up? Only 50% up! What are you doing wrong?”

Theories: Twitter ran rampant with theories, memes and jokes about the term.

Flashback: The typo had definite “covfefe” vibes. “Covfefe” was a tweet from President Trump that inspired a number of reactions online back in 2017. As I wrote at the time, Trump’s tweet about “covfefe” inspired a number of theories, with some believing it was a brand of coffee and others thinking it meant “coverage.”
