Actor Chris Pratt celebrated the start of production for “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” promising fans an exciting new feature film for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Pratt shared a photo of the “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” cast and crew, which had originally been posted by director James Gunn. Pratt praised the new film and its staff just one day after production started.

  • “Day 1 in the can. Honestly could not have started off better,” Pratt wrote. “Hit the ground running with a delicate, emotional, funny, wild, complicated scene and everyone absolutely killed. So grateful to be puppeteered by my friend and brother the made genius @jamesgunn.”
  • He added, “I promise you... this movie will be worth the wait.”

Pratt wasn’t alone in praising the film. Dave Bautista, who plays Drax the Destroyer, revealed on his Instagram Story that he was working on the film, too, according to ComicBook.com.

  • “Good morning, everyone. It’s day one on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” Bautista said on his Instagram Story. “This will be my sixth appearance as Drax. My sixth Marvel film and at this point, 20-something films under my belt.”

Things are certainly heating up on the “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” production. We recently got the news that the Marvel character Adam Warlock will debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” too.

But we may see these characters before the new movie. The Guardians may show up in the upcoming “Thor: Love and Thunder” film, since they ended their story in “Avengers: Endgame” alongside Thor. “Thor: Love and Thunder” will be released on July 8, 2022.
