The latest player to commit to the Utah State football program is safety prospect Saco Alofipo, a native of Henderson, Nevada.

Blake Anderson’s program hauled in another verbal commit Wednesday, as safety Saco Alofipo announced he will sign with Utah State football.

Alofipo is rated a three-star recruit and the 88th overall safety prospect in the 2022 recruiting class by 247 Sports and hails from Henderson, Nevada. He also had a scholarship offer from Northern Arizona, per 247 Sports.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound Alofipo has played both free safety and strong safety for Liberty High, per MaxPreps.

He is the sixth player to commit to Anderson’s program in the past two months, joining Florida defensive tackle Cahlede Jackson, Northridge High outside linebacker Maximus Fonoti-Maikui, Green Canyon High offensive tackle Bryce Radford, Nevada cornerback Jett Solomon and Orem High athlete Chase Tuatagaloa.
