We saw our first glimpse of Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the new “Obi-Wan Kenobi” series this week.

But more leaked photos show off the villains of the series (and no, it’s not Darth Vader), according to Den of Geek. Specifically, we see photos of Indira Varma (“Game of Thrones”), who appears to be dressed as an Imperial officer. We also see a stormtrooper walking around, too.

  • “Yes, it does look like Indira Varma is playing the officer, although Lucasfilm hasn’t officially revealed her character yet,” according to Den of Geek.

So what will her role be? It’s unclear. But “she could be stationed on Tatooine, where we know at least part of the series will take place, or she might be serving at Vader’s side, a high-ranking Imperial trying not to get on the Sith’s bad side,” according to Den of Geek.

Disney+ said the show’s cast includes McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Indira Varma, Kumail Nanjiani, Rupert Friend, Sung Kang, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.

That’s right. Christensen will return as Darth Vader in the series. It’s unclear how big his role will be. But there has been speculation that the new show will have some lightsaber fights, which suggest Obi-Wan and Darth Vader will meet once again, as I wrote for the Deseret News.
