“Loki” star Tom Hiddleston has revealed that the upcoming Marvel animated series “What If...?” will impact the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

What did Tom Hiddleston say about ‘What If...?’ and the MCU?

Hiddleston recently appeared on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon, where he talked about the “Loki” season finale. During their discussion, he was asked if he could tease anything about the finale, ScreenRant reports.

Soon enough, Hiddleston started to talk about “What If...?” — the upcoming animated show that will tell stories from alternate timelines in the MCU. He said he hasn’t watched the entire show, but it has interested him, according to The Direct.

  • “But I am intrigued because I haven’t seen the whole thing. And I know they’ve got, like, everybody from the Marvel universe to voice their characters. And Jeffrey Wright, he is playing this character called The Watcher, who is sort of an observer of all of these sort of things.”

‘What If...?’ and ‘Loki’ have a connection

In the “Loki” season finale, Loki and Sylvie end up creating the multiverse. It’s a long story, but it happens. By the end of the episode, we’re left with several questions about timelines, different universes and more. This suggests that “What If...?” will show us some alternate timelines in the multiverse.
